This map celebrates and keeps a live record of the diverse cultural spaces and venues that have closed in Leeds over the past ten years. Whether that’s art galleries, music venues or community spaces, this map is an open archive and record of the shifting nature of our city.

This map has been created in collaboration with Leeds-based artist James Thompson who has been building a record of our city’s artist-led activities and spaces as part of his artistic practice and research.
